Welcome to the Arctivism Project
The HRD Hub, through grants from the Open Society Foundations & the Sigrid Rausing Trust, supported collaborations of activists & artists across the world who responded to the implications of Covid-19 for human rights defenders, activism, and civic space. Using theatre, music, zines, painting, poetry & drag performance the collaborations addressed socio-economic inequalities, the challenges faced by women & Indigenous peoples, and the threats posed by populism.
