In their second project for Arctivists, the #QueerRespirator team will extend the original Ephemeral Confessions crew by filming, producing, and promoting a video for the song Otac Sam Ti Ja (I’m Your Daddy) as a response to the disproportional impact of COVID-19 on women and other marginalized groups in our society and globally.

Originally created for the performance ‘Songs on Decadence, Paternity Crisis, and Alcohol’, the song has emerged again as a perfect soundtrack for current times. Written and performed in the style of hip-hop by two drag kings to critically question patriarchy, a matrix that stands at the core of any form of a repressive system, it brings new energy to the collective in a form of a brittle in-your-face performance. Otac Sam Ti Ja (I’m Your Daddy) openly criticizes patriarchy and its toll on women, and it is our dedication to all the brave women around us.
